Collection: La Pucelle Tactics (PS2)
words by DrJohnGalt
This is one of those games I flirted with but never actually owned or played to
completion. So I decided to search it out and give it the full run it deserves.Developed by Nippin Ichi Software and released in North America by Mastiff, La Pucelle Tactics is (obviously) a tactical RPG. There are some slight differences from the 2002 Japanese release and the 2004 US release, most notably the removal of crosses and holy emblems (because, you know, religious transgressions and stuff) and the removal of certain “inappropriate” depictions like smoking and drinking.
The game got generally favorable reviews and being a tactical RPG is right up my alley, so I’m looking forward to playing it. Now I just need to find the time…
